Privacy policy
This page describes what AD Sweden actually collects when you buy something, ask for a quote or use the Tool Help Desk — nothing more.
What we collect
Your name, phone number, county, delivery address, your order history, and anything you tell us in a quote or a service enquiry. Phone numbers are stored in the international 254… form, the same form we use to reach you on WhatsApp and M-Pesa.
At checkout you can tap “Use my location”. We read your location only if you tap it and your phone allows it. Your phone works out your county itself, using county maps from geoBoundaries (CC BY 4.0), and the map pin is saved with your order only to deliver it — our staff and the rider use it to find you. A small Google map shows the pin so you can check it, which means Google receives the pin to draw that map. You can remove the pin before paying.
Why we collect it
To deliver an order, to answer a quote, or to reply to a Tool Help Desk request — that is the whole reason any of it is asked for.
Payments
Orders are sent to us on WhatsApp, and we agree the delivery fee and how to pay with you there. We never ask for card details — there is no card form anywhere on this site.
Messaging you
We do not message anyone who has not asked to hear from us. If you join our WhatsApp or email list, we record the moment you agreed to it. Reply STOP at any time and you are removed.
Who we share it with
WhatsApp, which carries the order messages you send us, and whoever delivers your order to you. The map on our contact page is loaded from Google, so Google receives the usual technical details (such as your IP address) when you open that page. Nobody else. We do not sell your details to anyone.
How long we keep it
We have not yet fixed a set retention period for this data. If you would like to know what we hold, or want it removed, ask us — see below.
Ask what we hold, or ask us to remove it
Call or WhatsApp the shop and ask. We will tell you what we hold about you, or remove it, on request.
