Where is my model number?

Makita: On the rating label on the motor housing, e.g. GA9020 or DHP486. A Z at the end means the body only.
DeWalt: On the nameplate: the model (e.g. DWE4206) and its Type number (e.g. Type 2). Parts can differ between Types, so send us both.
Bosch: The 10-digit number on the nameplate, starting 0 601 (blue professional tools) or 3 603 (green home tools).
Milwaukee: The catalogue number on the label, e.g. 2804-20. The first four digits name the tool.
Other brands: The model on the rating label, usually near the motor vents or the handle. Not the serial number.
